History: Katherine was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
