History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now owns her own business.

Personality: Tyna is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Tyna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for her, and Markosian does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
