History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His gray fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines yellow.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cloak embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cloak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Cloak and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Unemployed. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
