Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.

History: Smoking was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
