History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mordai grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. During his travels, Mordai and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mordai discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mordai fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She takes great joy in being the best Stableman in town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now mingles about in high society.
