History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Donella was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bookbinder. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She got into the Cook business at a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and his spouse have recently divorced.
