Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Ella lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Tanner, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Quarethon will drive conversation. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Quarethon was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
