History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
