History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Gorbundus was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gorbundus decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gorbundus was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and a deep hatred of giants

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Dagnal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Dagnal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She struck the Stylist job and began her own company from there.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Jocelyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Miller, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
