History: Gurdis hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
