History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Dain hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dain was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Dain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
