Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Performer and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears silk and lounges about seductively. Her bronze crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Painter business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Painter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her lance, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Her crest is short and black. Her eyes are likewise red. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'9" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Rinn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to raise his children well
