History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and further expansion of business

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with her Architect mother left her crippled. During her travels, Vadania and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Vadania discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Vadania fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
