History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. One day when Shifting was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Shifting was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Sariel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. She became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. Her auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Hatae is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her first spouse was a Unemployed, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
