History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Giselle grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Giselle. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He was born in a small plains village. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor father left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Kabbarg is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Kabbarg lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's in love
