History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ubada grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ubada. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Drusilia has worked very hard to control her curse. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has worked as a Ruler like her father before her.
