History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Valida learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Body Guard and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
