Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'0". She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her fur is cut close to her head. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Beast was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is an amazing painter.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his trident with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and an old rival family wants him found

She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady, and her gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. She sports red long hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she is greedy
