Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born in the south. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears long strands of amber and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Warryn was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born in the east. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
