Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Fisher, but she got bored and became a Performer. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
