Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Interpreter born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alston does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has worked as a Interpreter like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and expand his business

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a Performer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is dark red and curly. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anakis was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has money and likes to spend it
