The war was a terrible time for him, and Vanuath does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Vanuath was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Knight. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Herbalist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Hadarai began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and wishes to resurrect an old love
