In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Az-Rans began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Furrele lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
