History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Gennal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. Gennal enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Actor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
