History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Gnome Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.
