History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: He wears a blue armored body suit, with a simple black line shooting up and back down. He carries with him a set of ceremonial daggers on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. His hair is cut close to his head. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears long strands of jet and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Marshal profession.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
