History: Pelt was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His white hair is singed and shortened. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Mercenary soon after.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Donella was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carpenter. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
