Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Shifting was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shifting's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: An older woman who wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body, she is not a threatening figure. She has a very tight haircut. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Georgina embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gorgûm was born with his father's beautiful face. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gilbert has worked very hard to control his curse. He struck the Armorer job and began his own company from there.
