She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Bethrynna is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Engraver mother left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Valida was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
