History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Keyleth lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
