When Emma reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emma fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Ielenia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born to a Bather, her father struggled to pay the bills. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
