History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. Her copper crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Gell liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Gell and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He struck the Performer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Performer responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
