History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She is a Dyer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Veloptima abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his feathered black hat.

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Rûkdûg was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rûkdûg decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has worked as a Locksmith like his mother before him.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
