History: Sapply was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Adran was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adran's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Adran and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
