History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Shamash was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shamash's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Zook isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born into a rich family. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tailor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wants her loneliness to end
