Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A friendly and beautiful Halfling, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Paela was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She got into the Body Guard business at a young age. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest woman in the west
