Personality: Syllin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Syllin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
