History: Kellen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has worked as a Sellsword like his father before him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Dalaba was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ploughman. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Jo isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
