History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is knotted and matted. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by his family; and money/treasure

Her hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Valida has worked very hard to control her curse. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: An older man who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is still thick. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Barrister profession.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
