The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She was born in the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Numba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Numba. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Numba never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Umpen was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
