History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Jezean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
