His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Patrick was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
