Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Qualen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Antinua grew up listening to her father's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
