History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born in the east. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He now mingles about in high society.
