History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Norsko was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
