History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Darrak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Smoking was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Smoking decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Herleva hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her childhood dream was to be a Doctor, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.
