History: Katherine was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thradal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Thradal was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sellsword. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
