History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Fonkin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She struck the Spice Merchant job and began her own company from there.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
