History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Valida and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Shivering hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
