History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Einkil was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a Herbalist, her father struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears his black hair down. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 20. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Butcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult
